 QUESTIONS

 Please describe...

1) Your reading schedule to complete your reading/review of the book by Monday, February 4;

2) List five AP questions (with source URLs) that you intend to be able to answer by the time you finish

3) How you think you should be tested on these ideas, and/or how you intend to demonstrate your expertise on your blog.
 ___________________________________________________________________________

1. I will continue my reading regiment of 20-40 pages, but increase the frequency now by reading nightly. This should allow me more than adequate time to complete the novel by Feb. 4th as I am already over one third complete.

2. Courtesy of (primarily) past AP lit students, of our school and other's with respective blogs.
  •   Is Pip happy that he is given the opportunity to kiss the beautiful Estelle? Why or why not? (http://jpdrhsenglitcomp.blogspot.com/2012/02/great-expectations-study-questions.html)
  •  How does Estelle behave towards Pip? What is her disposition, character motive towards the main protagonist? (http://jpdrhsenglitcomp.blogspot.com/2012/02/great-expectations-study-questions.html)
  •  What does it mean that Pip has been raised "by hand"? (http://hswrhsenglitcomp.blogspot.com/2012/02/great-expectations-questions-and.html)
  •  How does Estella criticize Pip, and what does his reaction to her criticism reveal about Pip?

3.  I would, of course, rather avoid traditional testing as we are in a non-traditional, asymmetrical, class (in term of our more..."progressive" education style) as is but a tag along questionnaire to say one of our weekly vocab quizzes one day would be acceptable in my eyes (though proper warning for ample study time should always be exercised :).
